Just thought I'd share the news that one if the main tv channels in the UK has decided to launch a new website for its vast amount of content

The name they have chosen to use is:

    my5.tv

Some years back they used to use 5.tv but when the company was sold they dropped the name for a .com but have decide the go back to .tv

    Nice!

All seems to be well in the .tv garden at the moment.

    Great news.
In Italy the biggest public channels uses Rai.tv for their content.

    ...interesting.
Wonder if a competitor would use My1.tv...

They were probably using Five.tv, not 5.tv. That is not owned by a corp. Just FYI. Thanks for the insight.

You are correct. It was Five.tv they used initially - they changed to a .com when they were purchased by a larger company and have now gone back to using a .tv name

Main thing is that yet another national TV channel has decided to go for .tv over all the many other alternatives. This is certainly the norm in the UK and in Germany
