My parking alternative - a work in progress
I've read several threads on here from fellow domaineers/developers regarding homebrew parking alternatives. Nice to know I am not alone. I have been working on a site for some time, www.healthydomains.com
For the most part I developed it to serve my own domains but I do have a couple members who are offering good feedback and suggestions. The member portal and domain manager are built on Joomla+commercial Joomla addons, as well as custom scripts. The parking templates are all hand coded.
Most of my domains are indexed in Google, and since each page links to 10 random domains from my portfolio, I am seeing improved link quality as well.
Some features.... I have it set so I can add in my affiliate banner code, control the body text and keywords, apply Google adesense ID and Analytics ID as well as several other configurations. All of these can be set per domain or category. A single(or multiple) parameters can be set at the domain level and will override the settings at the category level, which is nice if I want to apply the same adsence or analytics ID to all domains in a category except one or two.
I don't expect my little project to take off in any significant way, but I am interested in any feed back, suggestions, etc. Here are some sample domains.
