How to set up a domain sales/parking site

I'm interested in setting up a domain sales and parking web site. I know there are scripts out there for this, but I don't like any of them. Does anyone have any experience setting up such a custom system? I know it won't be cheap, but the basics of it are just a database system.

However, I'm confused as to how people set up the server to resolve the parked domain names to their parked pages? What type of special account is this that must be set up at a web host?

any information on how this is all done?

Has anyone done this before and looking for more work?

Any comments and suggestions from anyone?

You'll probably need a dedicated server for large accounts. It depends on how many and how much traffic you'll receive.

I have a problem with that script. Half the showcased sites using the script didn't work last time I checked, and most never use the ppc function, which makes me wonder....

Even when I recently asked for examples of best sites in an email, not all were even functioning.
