My new casino revenue $$$ trial

Hi Guys,

Like most, Ive been fed up with parking programs culling off revenue by the day. Ive decided to give more attention to developing "gateway" pages and aim for affiliate commissions instead.

I used a template and turned my www.cupidcasino.com site into an example / trial. Let me know what you think.

The other added bonus of this is I can promote my site how I like without the restrictions of parking guidelines.

I understand that clicks alone will not give me any revenue but a single sign up with Dark Blue can easily yield $180US each. So I figure that a few signups a year will far exceed the parking revenue we all receive now.

Any thoughts appreciated. Just thought I would share my ideas.

I've been working the Domain Name business for about 9 months (have worked the hosting and domain registration route for 4 years but it is so competitive). I've obtained about 400 names that I have parked at various places - some of them pretty good. I've seen a decline in revenue - even the type-ins.

I am starting to look at alternatives. Most affiliate networks ask for a site address to apply - so that would make it more difficult to simply forward a domain name to that affiliate link.

Are you going to build sites for some of your domains, or forward them to affiliate links?

Patience is the key I suppose in the affliate game. No leads for what sometimes can seem like forever. But parked at Fabulous, its a win win for poker related stuff. I have all my gambling names parked with Fabulous, except one that is with Fabulous affliate.

Have not had a sign up yet, so the few poker ppc I get help.


Does Fabulous allow live links from this forum to your affliate regarding this domain?

Hi guys,

That site is actually all mine. I have simply added hyperlinks to affiliate programs from darkblue. I just used a website template I paid for and customised it.

To save on hosting I will probably forward quiet a few to this site. Also I dont have the time to make the changes for every domain.

I have around 60 domains with fabulous and still get the odd $9 - 12 click but they are few and far between and due to the terms and conditions of CPC programs I cant advertise them so thats why ive decided to make up a few of my own for added flexability. I worked it out that 20 poker click is equivilant to one affilliate signup or thereabouts with my current commission structure.


Hopefully ill find somthing that results in more revenue.

I certainly will. I am doing this with 30% of my gambling domains to start with. I would like to hear from anyone who has trialled anything similar or has any similar ideas. Please post.

Noticed a link isn't working in the footer. The anchor link is "Roulette" and it currently holds this link (http://dbbsrv.com/noimg/3653902/10011510) which leads to a blank page.

hey

i do have a minor tip on this it would be a good idea to use php (or similar) and tell it to look at the domain name etc and the site change on its own via script.

Just a thought if you dont know php i will write one for you an tell you how to use it let me know

Site looks nice. Looking forward to seeing how things come along. I agree..the ppc route seems to be more erratic at best. Has anyone tried stuff like whypark.com but a free version or cheaper version. It seems like a good idea, but I'm new to this arena.

Affiliate7: Wow you would think you'd get a good wack for bringing nearly 200k of business to a casino hey. Im sticking with CPA rather than NGR for now. Id rather get the money at the start rather than rely on the player continuing to lose money.

You can achieve a similar result by URL framing the home page of your casino affiliate.

Personally i think the bubble has burst (although i did very well for about 4 yrs) but you are right, aside from a domain with lots of nice natural traffic (and parked at Fabulous), your mini template development will probably yield more than it would parked.

We do not allow customers to link to domains they have parked on our PPC program. As this domain is using our DarkBlue.com CPA banners, that is ok.

This happens to me alot. Whenever an adress is dbsrv, qksrv etc they never work. Who knows why. Btw, did you get $180 for that sign up?

the links work fine for me and I am using firefox.

I also started my affiliate program following GlobeFRog's steps and i am very excited about it.
