My first attempt at monetization - bballgear.com

After some failed attempts at selling said domain, I decided to develop BBallGear.com - Basketball Shoes, Jerseys, Apparel and Equipment into a product review blog. I plan on keeping up with NBA news and blogging relevant products accordingly, along with Amazon affiliate links.

What do you guys think about the site's design right now?
Do you think I'd have more success simply running an aStore out of bballgear.com?

I must say you are going to get some criticism on this one but I congratulate you on first attempt at monetizing a site. My first thought are, that this domain name, could have great potential as some sort of e-commerce store if it is promoted well. An aStore may work better for this. Why not an aStore with a blog? Then you can have the best of both ideas.

Unimpressive but it gets the job done. You can probably make some money with it by regularly blogging and promoting (duh).

My thoughts exactly. If I had any interest in basketball whatsoever I'd do more than just a BlogSpot blog, but I hope this will do for now. Thanks for the reviews!
