My fellow Gamers, how old are you?

I am curious, when I play online games like Halo I am ridiculed for being 30 and playing a game. I know it is a just a spoiled little turd saying this to me, but I am curious as to the ages of gamers. I cannot see how the generation that defined the video game is all of a sudden told "You are too old"! Sorry to tell you wippersnappers, but us old folks invented the games you play.

I am 30, btw.

16 - though I don't play online games very often. I prefer strategy (both turn-based and real-time) games, along with two Xbox games that I play fairly often: Assassins Creed and Rainbow Six Vegas 2.

Best game in the world is an offline board game, called Settlers of Catan. My friends and I have met once a month for years to play a board game or occasionally an online game like Halo. And by years, actually, I mean decades.

Everyone gets old, rap music to our grand grand children will sound like blues to us now. Old and outdated...

As for video games, my generation inspired the new generation of video games. You guys just created them !

I started out playing multiplayer Quake 2 (and almost every mod and map made for Quake 2) back in the day. I also played Quake3, Soldier of Fortune, HalfLife, Enemy Territory, Call of Duty, BattleField 2 and others. Anybody remember Lan parties?
Not going to admit my age, but its over the hill!

55.. I usually play at Pogo if I play online. Yer never too old to enjoy life, mentally anyway.. after awhile, the spirit may be willing and the body weak Can't climb those mountains like I used to!

I found an online version of Settlers of Catan, you can play for free, or pay a monthly fee for more advanced scenarios. The free version is quite fun, though it will take you a while to find the building where they play the game. They are trying to create an online environment, it looks like, where you go to different buildings to play different games.

Im 17. I only play halo 3 and gta iv, so I guess im not a "real gamer".

I rather play with a 30 year old than annoying younger kids (not saying they are all annoying but some of them are really immature).

Some kids like to talk alot of crap, but they wouldn't be saying shit in real life.

I remember playing networked Doom at university back in the early 90's, then it got banned because it slowed the whole network down due to a bug that meant it sent the game information to every computer on the network regardless if they were playing or not.

The came Duke Nuken 3D, I remember laying rows of pipe bombs and waiting till an unsuspecting friend walked round the corner and I set them all off :lol:

I haven't played games for a while.
