What on earth can I do to stop my email address being used for spam purposes?

So, nothing to panic about then? Its just that when I saw the sender "[email protected]" I just thought "what the hell..?"

I get about 20 returned emails every day to random email addresses with my domain. :td:

(I get the same email you posted once or so per day, too.)

If I were you .... I'd remove your email from the above post(s) ;)

No need to add more spam to you by allowing bots to find them :o

I had the same thing from one of my names...I got like 300 returned viagra and phenogrowyourdick drug spams per day.

I called my host and told them about it. They said it was spoof mail. Apparently these sacks of monkey shit know how to make your email conceal their location so you don't find them and kick them in the rickies...

Unless you host your own site, it is your host who needs to ratchet down the security. But that wouldn't do any good if G bans your site.

I know, its actually very easy to have a fake reply-to and from address, just tell the SMTP server the wrong address.

Mark, I already get so much spam, i'm sure the extra generated by this topic wont be that bad.
