I backorder a domain and parked it on sedo yesterday.
The daily traffic is 5K!!!And with very low clicks.

Anybody knows about it?

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.

Low clicks is something expected, that is NO error.

In many niches, the clicks can be less than 1% CTR. That is how it works.

But a domain with 5K daily traffic, isn't it too huge?
There is no backlinks, no pagerank, all of these is type-in traffic!

From my experience, huge traffic does not always mean huge clicks.

It depends on the topic, niche, and visitor type. For example, if your domain is about parking, do you think people who land on your page are going to click? They know what parking is all about, and they know those are just advertisements....So a domain like this may get lots of traffic, but I seriously doubt it will make anything much of parking, or anything at all for that matter.

Maybe you can reveal what subject your domain is about?

Could be bot traffic...All these statistics programs are never the same.

For example, I had a domain that was getting 600-700 "visits" per month but when I moved it to AW Stats on my Cpanel, the "unique visitors" is only 200 per month. Unique visitors is the most accurate. Not page views or bot traffic.

It's the same with Google Analytics or some other stat program....I don't know how Sedo counts their traffic....

There have been a lot of reports of inflated traffic at sedo. Try moving the domain somewhere else and compare...
