Hello!
I would like to share info about my sales over the last 12 months.

All domains are New gTLDs.

Rio . Life $499 USD. (Afternic)

LoveMy . Life $495 USD. (Afternic)

Auto . Capital $288 USD. (Afternic)

Plus, I have two private sales, 2 domains to the same person with NDA, not official NDA and I didn't sign anything, the buyer just asked me not to share info about this sale.

Plus, two small sales of $150 each to people I know, both below average domains.

You won't see six-digit numbers here.
I don't sell my best of the best domains.
You can see them on my web page under the heading "our projects", there are more than 70 of them.
At the moment I have seven xxx,xxx offers.

Many of the domains listed above sold for less than they would have sold for, but I am happy with each of those sales!
And Good Luck to the buyers!

29 domains have been sold in the last 12 months.
I have a portfolio of about 400 domains, but only 300 of them are actively for sale.

Wow, nice gTLD sales! Were any (or many) of these registry premium renewals?

What's the difference?

I'm trying to learn if registries are good at identifying end user demand. One would think where they price names at higher renewal, they'd have a belief that particular name will be in higher demand than a regular priced one. So, for example, if the higher priced sales were all registry premium - perhaps this is a "tell". But if none were - or it skews all over the place, then the registry is no better at identifying than most of us

This is because 99% of such questions, that I received by email, are about domains that I don't want to sell, or don't want to sell yet, because it's still too early to offer many domains for sale for $xxx, xxx.

And those who are ready to make such offers to buy, usually, don't ask like that.

...and, those domains that are currently for sale, many at bargain prices, already have either a BIN price or a minimum offer price.

I think many are aware of that mindset these days and it doesn't restrict itself to very high value domains. I hold quite a few that I genuinely think are at least a couple of a years away from a reasonable X,XXX sale. But it's nice to get the XXX offers just to reinforce my beliefs. Would love to be operating in the XXX,XXX range, though I'm not sure I'd be able to sleep at night

A few months ago, I received a such "how much" question from the CEO of a big Tech and a longtime established company.
The first time from the anonymous gmail address.
I replied that the domain is not for sale.

The second time he wrote using the company email "firstname@companyname", and offered $10K.
I replied that the domain is not for sale, but someday in the future it might be available.

He came back with $100K and wrote that he wanted to buy the domain not for the company or business use, but something like for his personal collection for the future.

I replied that I was hoping for a bigger offer in the future, and that now is not the time for such domains yet.
He replied that he would return. :)

Domain: Future . World

If you had my domains like single.casino or bet.cymru, you probably would've sold them easily. Me? I'm terrible at selling domains ๐Ÿ˜…
