My development outlined plan needs comment

Hello, :wave:

I am new to the this business. I have registered a few brandable names (and some losers). I want to take a few of those names and develop them into informational sites with original niche content on which I have the knowledge to write. I will hopefully develop ad revenue after a few months of exchanging pertinent links and promotion. I am aiming for decent quality to satisfy the pandas and penguins of Google.

Because of time constraints, I will limit the sites to 3 or 4, with a weekly update of material and photos. I will use the same standard WP template with different entries.

My plan is to get a Hostgator business plan and set up four WP sites. Each site will be set up with OIO Publisher (for ads) and possibly allow for Google ads. Two of the sites will be bilingual. I will target English and Chinese ads.

After 6-8 months, if I can generate revenue, I would like to slowly start new sites and hire through O'Desk (or similar) contracts to create more material. I will concentrate on text/photo content and standardize the template and "extras".

Feedback and suggestions on this outline are most welcome. Also, does my choice of Hostgator and OIO seem OK?

Plenty good for what you want to do. Good luck with your strategy. Keeping things small scale is a good idea.
