.MX Discussion and Showcase

Wow, great news about the re release of .mx domains. I think this has huge potential considering the population in mexico is 100 mil. Those who already have a .com.mx or .org.mx domain can pre register teh same domain in .mx extension. Luckily I registered a few months back these domains, please tell me the best in order please:
gun.com.mx
see.com.mx
ear.com.mx
war.com.mx
won.com.mx
cuentas.com.mx (accounts in spanish)
cesta.com.mx (basket in spanish)
cestas.com.mx (baskets)

Found a good .com.mx possible reg.

I have been searching AdWords for Spanish phrases and I finally found one that seems promising. It is a three word phrase that has to do with language translation it appears to have over 2 million searches per month locally on AdWords. Any advice on whether or not the $40 is worth the risk? Are these really selling? Should I buy both the .mx and .com.mx if I decide to pull the trigger? I have read some articles about how Mexicans prefer to use .com.mx most of the time.

Can please someone tell me the cheapest Registrar for .mx domains (not .com.mx) at the moment? Godaddy wants 35$ (with promo codes), 45$ (without codes)

If you are just looking to flip it's probably not worth it. There are some decent sales happening but they are for very premium single keywords. If you are looking to develop then that is a different story.

com.mx was in use long before .mx was available so it has a larger base but over time you will see the .mx extension become much more popular and surpass com.mx.

all just my opinion :)

Neubox.net always has the best prices for .mx reg.
The interface is very slow and outdated but it works. If I am in a rush to register I always use Dynadot but if you want to save money on reg fees and renewal fees.. Neubox is always much cheaper. I have about 50 domains with them and have never had any problems in 3 years.

They don't offer English on signup page but they do on domain control panel.

To use English, the only way is using Google Chrome with Translation :D

And they also accept PayPal :D

It's pretty dumb for registrars not to have English on their site but only in the control panel. It's similar to a company I have a number of .rs names with. But at least Google Translate is always your friend for these type of sites :)

I have tried before with no luck. If there is nothing in the whois then I don't think it can be done. I take it the domain does not resolve anywhere?

Habits and routine are everything so just try to find out if people are more used and to using .com.mx or .mx
