I have a business idea for this domain but it will take a serious amount of work, im just wondering if it is worth developing or reselling. Please any appraisals would be very helpfull

Anyway.. music-genius would be better. musical-genius doesn't sound right at all, even if it didn't had the hyphen in it, I still wouldn't get it.. and I'm a musician.

Before you get a domain, read it out laud, listen if it sounds right. :]

If you don't want Brutally honest opinions - Do not ask for appraisals ... It IS that simple.

There is no need for the bad language , And at the same time I'd like to remind those giving their opinions to explain Why and how you came to your opinion.

As many others have said (Except a few that insist on defending hyphens by showing rare examples of premium keywords that sold high and thinking all hyphens should sell high because of that) - hyphenated words/phrases only do well when the term is highly sought after in the first place. They are perfectly fine for development on a small scale IMO , but then so are made up words with no Search value at all.
I personally see no value in this particular domain ... Sorry.

No value... hypenated domains would just drive traffic to the non-hyphenated version; musicalgenius.com which is just so so in itself. Musical or music prodigy seems a lot better.
