This is what I've been trying to tell people!!!
You bought it at a premium price and the fees could go up before you get an offer on it to resell it.
Or you can't justify paying an even higher renewal price than you got it for.
Now the registry could get this premium domain back in there portfolio and resell it again. Just by increasing the fees, which they are able to do legally.

It's an awesome domain but, I'm sure you had to pay a large amount for it.

An appraisal is hard because you have to factor in the renewal. Renewal fees could make it a very hard to sell unless you have the marketing that the registry has.

Most music equipment companies already have a domain/website/brand that they use. Justifying a very high renewal will be hard to explain when they can renew theirs for $10.

If the renewal was something standard, but you just paid a one time purchase price that was high, that would make these types of domains easier to sell.

This is a tuff one.
I'd say it's worth many $1000's but you probably paid many $1000's for it and have to every year. If you can sell it for more than you got it for...do that.

Not sure if that helps or is what you wanted to hear...just my 2cents.

Man, I thought your fees were going to be much higher. Keep that domain.

Watch out for any crazy renewal though. Still not sure what premium price you paid originally though. Some domains you have to pay that same high price every year.
Don't say what you did pay for it on here or anywhere!!!

If you can make a profit that's all that really counts.

When you say "Price Hike Possibility" are you saying they told you there may be a price increase of some sort? Or are you asking us what we think the price will increase to?

I'm not clear on that.

It should be Musical.Equipment

There should be a lot of people interested in this domain and renewal fees at $25 don't look to risky at the tier price level its in.

The term 'music equipment' is an 'industry specific' term, has an average search volume 'exact' - 3,600 monthly, with ad competition is 'high' - โ‚ฌ1.19

Could see it parting for low-mid $x,xxx in current market, good luck !

Love this GEM. Don't sell it for less than 10 K!

Be prepared for there being a dot everything in the future. Like Dot Instrument(s)

PlaygroundEquipment sold for big money in many extensions, so anything possible. Four figures is a good target if you have an enduser. Good Luck

I agree with this.

Just didn't want to put an exact number on it. It would take that much to pry it from my portfolio if I owned it.

If renewals were high it would be hard to hold without some cash coming in on it.

Great domain.

Just offer it to all the music equipment companies you can find and see what they say.

I actually think you won't find it that easy to sell, because they will prefer to use unique brand names to distinguish themselves in the marketplace.

Just type music equipment into google and you'll get all the companies you need. Go to their contact page and go from there.

Good luck!!!
