I am having some unusual errors or issues that is making buying inventory frustrating. I just wanted to share to get any tips or maybe understand the climate better.
A few issues/frustrations:
1. I have had a few domains "sell" to me at auction, only to be refunded later. These were higher quality names so it is really dissapointing and wondering how they can be sold to me, then remitted.
2. I have had a few domains show Ownership Verfication Required on GoDaddy/Afternic and I can't figure it out. The domains have been transferred to me and I have pointed the nameservers to Afternic along with the verification string.
3. One of these Ownership Verified Required domains actually points to an incorrect sale price and lists it as a Buy It Now. This doesn't reflect the data I have in the lander and am worried someone will try and purchase the domain.
And lastly, I find customer service for any registar to be AWFUL. I have been on a chat with Namecheap for over an hour trying to find out if they can help figure out why a domain I purchased at auction hasn't transferred in over 14 days. I can't get a hold of anyone at GoDaddy/Afternic... I just get put on hold or told no agents are available.
I know I am learning but am I doing something wrong?
