Just picked up TelePresence.mp. It is the future of communication!

I really like the mp extension because it has a huge list of great acronyms it can stand for. More good ones than any other extension I can think of.
ie:
music player (I sure like my tunes.mp)
media player
mobile phone
market place
mega pixel
military police
multi platform
motion picture
multi player
master plan
meeting place
I could keep going...anyone have any other good ones? Any more regs to share?

Just a heads up namepro'ers. No beta code needed for chi.mp registrations now and they are still free (or $20 at get.mp and you can change the nameservers).

They give you something for free and you complain that it costs to transfer it? You want the moon on a stick, my friend.

I agree it is excessive, but then since they're not making much money elsewhere (yet), who can blame them?
And I imagine people will go about it the way you said (but then I can't imagine many, if any, .mp names ever changing hands).
