Is it legal putting movie trailers/previews on the web site?
I am thinking of starting a site and I see tons of such site.

For example, I could be selling amazon videos or link to
movie ticket sites and such.

As average joe, I am thinking it's legal since trailers/previews
are created to promote their movies and I am promoting, no?

So, is it legal?
I just want to make sure before I start.

I'm no expert on this kind of thing, but I am pretty sure movie trailers are ok to use. One thing you could do is ask one of the studios, or even one of the sites what the legalities are of using movie trailers on a site.

However, it is technically the studios' copyright content... so to be safe, best bet is to ask them what the appropriate steps are to be legal. (Or maybe someone with more experience will reply here).

Sometimes it can take a while to get a response... if you get any at all :(

Exactly :(
I don't think they'll ever reply.
That's why I posted my question here.
