Very strange thing happend to me....

I reg'ed a few DNs last week. They then appeared in my list on the Moniker interface along with all my other DNs within a few minutes, just like always.

Today I was just checking the whois on my DNs to make sure that they had the privacy protection and, for some odd reason, there was no whois info on the DNs I reg'ed last week.

I log into Moniker - clicked on "My Domains" and, yep, the DNs are there in my list. So then, just for kicks, I try to register one of the exact names - much to my surprise it is available to register. wtf?

So then I log into my email account to check the conf emails - they say the registration failed - the wording was "Domain in registry. Error code: 2104 - Billing failure"

Um, ok - my bad for not double-checking the conf email. But, if I click on "My Domains" in the Moniker interface, and the DNs are there, shouldn't I assume they are, um... MINE?

Moreover, to me the Moniker site seems to be a mess of links. You can do the same thing so many different ways and with so many different links. Poor design IMO.

Their cust support is good and I like the services offered but this latest snafu scares me.

Same exact thing happened to me and I was very pissed off trying to reg 10 domains, it was a vicious cycle....instead I went over to Dotster and executed the transactions. I really like Moniker, but since they launched their new interface, the site is full of bugs. I hope they fix them ASAP.
