Monetising domains (without parking)

The domains I own were bought primarily for monetisation, I was wondering how many others here do this and I do not mean parking.

For example building a website on a domain to get affiliated product sales, as just one example.

Is there a thread here for that or is it just parking that people here do?

I've actually never used parking.

I treat most names as end-user sales inventory (list them, wait, outbound a handful when there's a real operate-as desk). Building something on every domain doesn't scale for me, and affiliate sites only make sense when I'd actually run that niche anyway.

So: selective build when the idea is real. Passive marketplace for the rest.

Curious how you're picking which names deserve a site vs which ones just wait for a buyer.
