For the whitelabel product only: It used to be that you got 3 months of the site builder free and after the three months the service costs $99. They have extended that to 6 months free.

5.1.1 provide You with the .mobi Site Builder Services ordered during the sign up process without You having to directly pay .mobi any fee for this facility;


7.1 Access to and use of .mobi Site Builder Services is provided to You if You have accepted this Agreement without You having to directly pay .mobi any fee for this facility.

4. Limited License to the Background Technology. - "Background Technology" means computer programming & formatting code or operating instructions developed by or for mobiSiteGalore services and used to maintain the website. Background Technology does not include any Client Content or any derivatives, improvements, or modifications of Client Content. Client may not duplicate or distribute any Background Technology to any third party without the prior written consent of Company. All rights to the Background Technology not expressly granted to Client hereunder are retained by Company.

In my interpretation, it means that you own the content, but any HTML codes, etc, are owned by Mobisitegalore.

"View source" via Dreamweaver (or any HTML editor) on any mobi sites and you will see that they also "lock" their codes...
