Hey, I thought there should be a thread where users can showcase there newly acquired .MOBI domains!

OK I see, and that is greatly appreciated. You are a true friend.

I must point out to you, as a true friend as well, that if you are paying $26 per name, you are paying too much. I have been given a discount now ( I am sure that is a sign that I have way too many .mobi names) and pay only $17.98 for 2 years now.

www.whiz.in is my .mobi registrar and the current holder of my first and second child's college education funds. I do recommend them to help the .mobi dollar stretch.

Since we both seem to have this insane addiction, perhaps we should meet on that beach in Mexico a little sooner so that we can have a group .mobi detox meeting and cry in our Margaritas togehter.

Thanks, and I do realize that I'm overpaying a little. I was initially using Godaddy, and then found Moniker for a cheaper price. I used whiz.in for a couple of names and the services for it are great(highly recommended) but I felt more comfortable using a register that's been around for a longer time and has more experience for registering all of my names. If I used whiz.in I could have saved $1,200 but peace of mind is more important to me.

Hmmm. It looks like we'll be going to Mexico sooner than I originally thought because of the current pace of Mobi sales and major sites getting designed. But, we're not going for a Mobi detox. We should meet up for a "i'm addicted to mobi so lets meet up with more people that enjoy mobi and truely destroy our normal lives" type of meeting.

I want us to meet in Mexico if we're successful but if that doesn't work out then we should all meet up at a TRAFFIC show.

to see the real results of mo-bile you have to type in "mo-bile" with quotes in google. its only around 100k results. Just like with .com names, I wouldnt use a dash to break up a single word. i would only use it to separate two different words or for an L-L or N-N. good luck with them though.
