.mobi .MOBI Showcase Thread

Hey, I thought there should be a thread where users can showcase there newly acquired .MOBI domains!


Heres mine to start off with:

The competition may not have been tough for thoser 2 names,, but I saw your post on another forum elsewhere that they had dropped, 2 days too late, to compete. I was unwell, but I keep interested in the drops. I'm still interested and feel that there's a market.
As far as I've seen the registrationnumbers of .mobi are again in the +1 million after it had been lower than 1 million. I think that with the new extentions, suddenly the interest is there again. I know this doesn't say everything, but it's a sign. And the launch of .mobile is far far away apparently. And what will people prefer .mobile or .mobi ?

based on the new gTLDs trend, .mobile will be treated the same, so basically, none of them will be preferred (.mobi or .mobile)
IMO, I'd go straight to .mobi if I will have to chose

Not long ago names like hotel realestate property have dropped, names that would have sold for 6 figures in 2006. I understand competition for snapping these names was not so tough either.
That says a lot. There has never been an extension losing value so dramatically.

Thanks. But it's strange that at least three domains of that caliber were allowed to drop, because they must have been purchased at a premium early on, for sure they weren't bought for reg fee back in 2006.

It's strange for anyone to allow their assets to drop accidentally, but it has been happening since the beginning of domain names. I personally know a $10 mil/yr company that dropped their corp domain out of ignorance. It happens. And again you're assuming when these were purchased, the domain I know of specifically was a Premium recently acquired from the dotmobi registry.
