mimimun required number of post

I think there should be a minimum required number of posts before people can post in Develiop sites for sale. Once in awhile we get people who claim they have this great website for sale for sooo cheap and there post count is 1
Most of these end up being a scam
me personaly would never bid on something like that.

Most people who join the forum only join to sell something, and not to do much with the community. The threads should be checked, and if in question, the staff should contact the people and explain to them what is wrong and why there thread isnt appearing. I think not letting people post is harsh, i think n00b moderation is needed.

I agree. Having a minimum post count is only going to lead to them spamming/making useless one word posts and lowering the quality of the forum.

A minimum of 10 post wouldn't hurt for the new people who joined. It would get the familiar with the other forums here and make the interested in other categories, besides selling their site.

Exactly. On other forums I've joined that had a minimum post count, there were TONS of posts that said "Yeah." or "True!" or "lol" I like NP as it is.

It can get really nasty. If someone wants to sell something fishy they make 1 stupid post and then the mods will close it.

But if you require a post count your gonna get 10 lame posts plus 1 scam post. Repeat this 5 or 6 times over and the quality of the forum does drop.

If people are here to stay they will. Namepros is an excellent community. If they don't want to their intentions are pretty obvious.
