Can someone help me figure out what my name Domain is worth, I get emails all the time wanting to buy it, my current offer is $250 , but I am afraid it is worth more than that. Of course all of the calls are from other mike walker's same name as me.

thank you for any help

Dont sell it. You'll most likely never get it back. Well, maybe if someone offers a million for it then i'd sell it.

Welcome to Namepros Mike.
When the domain name is a personal one, like this, the value depends entirely on factors like: how many people have the same name, how badly they want this dn from you, how badly you want to keep it, and other things... like if any of the other Mike Walkers are rich, ha ha.
This is your name, so be VERY careful of selling it. If you like to develop other kinds of sites, and having a personal name site really means nothing to you and you don't think it ever will, then you'll probably sell. Otherwise hang on to it - as the reply above says, you would probably never get it back if you sold it, unless you were to get rich in the future and make the next owner an offer he couldn't refuse.

If you're short on cash and absolutely have to sell this for some $$, make sure it's for a good amount. You have a dn that's based on two good, common names, and I'm sure there are a LOT of M W's out there... and every one of them would like this domain name. Don't sell your name out cheap, if you can help it :)
Think very carefully about it. No one here can accurately give you an appraisal of its worth; that value has to reside in your heart, so to speak. Peoples' personal name dn's are a little different to valuate than other kinds...

Make A Mike Walker Forum and invite all the Mike Walkers in the world to join.

Then you can announce to them that you are auctioning the domain and get the best price - For Sure more than $250.00. :)

I know a Mike Walker, I'd hold on to any domain that's my own name. As bannen stated, you never know what lies ahead for you. Mike Walker is also a very common name, I'd hold on to this one for as long as you can, even if it's not making you any money.

A few days before I went to register my last name .COM, someone registered it. I still regret not buying it beforehand.

The domain Mike Walker also has potential for Cordless Microphones.

FashionWalker.com sold for $17,000.

be careful with that one. Mike walker is a pretty well know figure as well . http://www.nationalenquirer.com/mikewalker/ . I know for years he has done a segment on Howard Stern . Although it is a name if he wants it he might come after it .

Well if your name is Mike Walker too, he canยดt touch you for it, and if you sell it to another Mike Walker he wonยดt be able to touch them either.

As long as it stays in ther hands of any Mike Walker it is safe.

Fame doesnยดt give priority to which Mike Walker can own it.

You could also check out if my favourite Walker, Johnnie, has any rich Mikes in the family. :hehe:

If your thinking of selling it i'd put it up for auction first then contact as many people as you can with that name (perticularly famous people if possible) letting them know the highest bidder gets it. Those offers you had just might be from that guy in the above link. Ya never know.

Yes my name is Mike Walker so he cannot get it unless he buys it from me.

Your supposition is true only if it isn't developed to capitalize on a famous person. Once you commercialize and exploit a celebrity, they have all the rights in the world to come after that domain.
