I think that 'claimed' is the right word. Until a few months ago it was for sale at 4000$, proved by screenshots from domainmarket. It didn't sold for years at 4k, but now all of the sudden a buyer wanted to pay 5 times more...strange, at least. So, 'claimed' could work perfectly here.

There was nothing to be suggested. It is people's right to believe or not. If you feel insulted because someone doesn't believe you, than the problem is with yourself.
