I'm thinking of selling one of my web sites but need to know the value of it before committing myself to a sale i would rather not post the URL until/if i decided to sell...

I'm just testing the water so please let me know in your opinion what this site is worth...

Type of site: General web directory running on WSN Links (buyer would need their own license cost $50)

Age of site: 6 months

Why am i considering selling: To free up time

Traffic: 2k - 8k (last month was 8k, always improving)

Pagerank: 4

Content: links in directory 6k, over 500 submissions a week (free submissions), members: 3500+

link pop: 49445 (natural)

Coop weight: 6,312

Pages indexed: 24,020

FEB 2005 $2.59 (site opened 26th FEB 2005)

MARCH 2005 $19.64

APRIL 2005 $16.45

MAY 2005 $32.77

JULY 2005 $36.75 (so far)

Makes $80.00 monthly via text link advertiser, also makes other revenue from paid listings $10.00 - $20.00 a month

Well, you are insulting the seller and trashing his thread when you offer him $10 for a site making around $100/month income.

If the site is truly making around $100/month, then its value would $1000-$1200. a price of at least ten months of income or 12 months of income.

Atleast i know what it's worth now, i will probably hang onto this for a little while...

Well if understand the post correctly it's doing over 200$ a month adsens+links+listings and would be worth atleast 2-3000$

Yea i can safely say it makes around $195 to $210 a month & this is without even selling ad space (text links at the bottom) i have one guy who pays $80 a month for a link & thats it, the other space could be utilised for further ads, the other ads their are mine for coop weight & my other sites...

With your estimation at 2 - 3k it just confuses me more, valuing sites sucks i hate it
