Hey all figured with the recent .io 6 figure sale and the nice .xyz sale by a follow NP member. We should open a showcase and discussion thread here.

Metaverse is a fast growing keyword, term and niche! Let's share and discuss our name and news.

I've only got One to start with but its a GOOD one my favorite ending keyword on most names.

MetaverseHub.com

Welcome! :)

This may or may not have been mentioned but I don't remember seeing it.

Metarooms.com diverts to Hotelscombined.com.

The .net version sold for $30,000 in September this year. I can't find the sale price of .com, unless it was hand regged by the current owner or simply not reported.
IMO, since they acquired rooms.com, they may be interested in metarooms.com.
I'm very curious how much the domain will sell for.

Not smart imo especially when you don't have a lot of these names for sale.

NOT sure buyer knows what's going on with sales, not all reported.
I have to agree that the price is low for that name. However, we don't know the seller's financial situation, some people need quick cash just to survive and can't afford to hold names long term no matter the circumstance.

In most cases there is a way out.
Try to find the way out as much as u can.

That is about the right price. It probably, will sell for less than that price. I agree that nobody knows the financial situation of a person.

Now we are talking. He has corrected the price to โ‚ฌ62k. That price suits the name better. Good luck @sava en

Priced too low.
The only reason I agree with this is MetaZone is priced at 1.5 million and they are going to have alot more eyes on this domain as an alternative. The word metaverse is very long and unproven as far as comparable sales. People are trying to undercut people left and right in all other extensions than com. I am seeing prices change by the day or week. If he makes it too high the other extensions will take advantage of that.

I donโ€™t think we should tell anyone how to price (unless they ask us) simply because we have similar names and want good comparable sales. Each personโ€™s situation and goals is different at any given time.

Can't agree with you, meta+zone or any other keyword is here to stay for branding (regardless of Meta/FB making their moves to conquer the "meta" trademark space), metaverse+zone or any other keyword is a reputable EMD everyone will be interested in in the upcoming 10 years, as a root word for any domain, see "Insurance/Loan/Casino/Mortgage/Slots/etc. etc.". Long? Who cares. Everybody will kill for an EMD redirect.

E: typo.

We shall see. Zone is not an exact match for anything. I am not saying the name has no merit I am saying the reasons for pushing people to price higher are glaringly obvious. Plus until we have public high value metaverse sales we just donโ€™t know. Not everyone will want a metaverse name. Some will avoid using that word.

As far as length its proven shorter names sell better and for more.

Can't disagree with that: "As far as length its proven shorter names sell better and for more.", but "zone" is way above "profits" in that case (more brandable, more use cases) than @twiki's reported "+profits" for example. We are talking about reported sales, if @Elad n states that there are many that go under the radar, I tend to trust him.

Definitely agree on "We shall see" part :xf.smile:

I think it's way overpriced. The metaverse is a zone already.

BTW, exactly because not all sales are reported, you can't expect someone to know the true value.

I'm very curious how much the domain will sell for.

What do you mean sell for? What do you mean "may be interested" ?

It's not for sale.

How is 75 thousand euro low when only one sale with the word Metaverse has ever sold for more in history?

Now it's 75k. Not sure what is was when this direction started as it wasn't mentioned.

Well then MetaZone is insanely overpriced.

I agree with your second part wholeheartedly. Some people just was to bump up their own domain values.

I get it. I trust actual verified sales not second hand info. I am sure these names will make us all right and wrong..lolz

Names will sell we donโ€™t expect, one term will take off more than another etc. Exciting times ahead for sure.
