What does it mean for Domainers ? Meta domains trading still possible with that trademark ? Does anyone have information about it ?

For now, nobody can say anything 100%, but my common sense and reading other opinions from tens of discussions on linkedin and other places, they are just filling for TM rights for word 'meta', not 'meta+keyword', they need to wait months before any approval, they need to fight 1600 other prior TM rights, they will need to prove lot's of things, so for now, mostly pure meta.tld owners, who want to use them related to metaverse could have some headache.

Meta is public domain but does a company want to bother with being confused with an XR company by the same name, that is so huge that it doesn't even need to do advertising? Why fall under its shadow when you can brand differently and stand out? Meta doesn't own Meta but it owns the industry by popularity and bc of the fact that it will likely be the ecosystem in which other XR companies will need to do business. So it's doubly stupid to brand as Meta now, regardless of if it's legal or not....unless you are not in XR, then it doesn't matter.
