Metallurgy Help Needed

Does anyone know what the difference is between these two metals: "inconel 625" and "inconel 625 ams 5599"

So if someone were to order the first one and got the second one instead, would there be a difference in:

-Cost
-Durability
-Discontinued or currently still being manufactured
-shaping
-quality
-longevity
-hazardousness
-whatever

I don't know. I'm grasping at straws here. I can't find the answer anywhere.

Update: I did find this statement from a website: "... Inconel 625 is supplied to AMS 5599."

AMS 5581 Seamless or Welded Tubing

AMS 5666 Bars, Forgings, Extrusions and Rings.

ASTM B446

UNS: NO6625

Looking at the above it seems that the particular AMS specification applies to the profile or section provided. The AMS is just a particular specification covering several similar grades of metals.

The steel grade material property itself provides the strength, hardness, durability etc.

Therefore iconel 625 is the same as iconel 625 ams 5599 if it is provided as sheet strip or plate. For tube it could be iconel 625 ams 5581.
