Mine are pointy, prevent mind reading AND keep zombies from eating your brain. The Aluminum Foil Deflector Beanie only prevent mind control which is another issue.

However, if you feel that DoomsDay 2012 will bring an overage of telepathic abilities, zombies and mind control; both products are recommended.

Sorry, but zombies I know eat arms, legs, stomach area, etc.
And they can just rip off anything on the head, including tin foil, motorcycle helmets, and military grade headgear.

For zombies, forget a tin foil hat.
Go for machetes, shotguns and baseball bats.

Does slow them down though if the snow is at or above their knees.
