Wierd WIPO read. I can see how he won though. Was there ever a site at the domain? Because that may have really been the deciding factor of fair-use since he may never had used it for a commercial purpose. Although his attempt to sell to Merck could be viewed otherwise. Merck most likely will just not bother anymore...why spend thousands more to get a crappy name like merckblog? It can't be worth more than $50 to anyone imho.
