I'm not a big fan of these types of names. I mean, who is really going to type xn--90av.com into their browser? And this looks like m6, not mb.

Reg Fee.

Never really got IDNs, who types them in?

Anyway I'm sure you'll find a buyer but no more than $50. I personally wouldn't take it if it was free though...

People who speak Russian, Ukrainian, or Bulgarian will type in мб.com and end up on his page (which translates to MB.com). xn--90av.com is just the punycode representation of the name. Typing is мб.com will work just fine (on Firefox or other IDN enabled browsers. Once IE7 is released than most of the world will be able to type it in).

To me, it doesnt resemble MB, it resembles M6. I wouldent of paid reg fee for such a domain, but maybe a few years down the line it could be worth something.

This kind of domains are not for english audience. English is and was always everywhere.
But its time to develop big NET. And people of other countries are interested in such domains.

Just to clarify - this domain is written in cyrillic characters (used in the Russian, Ukrainian, and Bulgarian languages). м = M and б = B in the cyrillic alphabet. It may look like m6, but that's not what it is.

Fang One - Park it and see what kind of traffic you get. I get pretty good traffic from нф.com (abbreviation for Science Fiction in Russian). Appraising the value is difficult currently but just wait until IE7.

lol, i dont think people get that it translates into mb. But my question is, who would type in mb.com anyway? Does mb in russian translate to megabyte?

м = M and б = B, but does megabyte = мegaбyte?

If it does, then ill say xxx, but if not high xx.

A quick search on Google for Russian pages with "мб" yields 26.8M results. Looking at the images, many seem to be for video cards, flash memory, or pdas - with мб representing the memory of the device.

It does seem that мб does equal the abbreviation of megabyte in Russian. BTW - megabyte in Russian appears to be Мегабайт - which is just the transliteration of the word.

For example in the biggest russian(ukrainian also) searcher there are 10k searches of this domain a month, but мегабайт people were looking for only 1k times))

Thanks to all, guys!
