I would go with the .net
Since you have both names, you can redirect the .com too

I also would go with the .net ....but either would work but the .com kinda narrows you down to a forum etc.

Why not email the owners of MaxiScooter.com and MaxiScooters.com and see what they will sell for?

Always try and get the best name first imo, unless you have already tried
