To share with you, sorry for the inconvenience I am more than frustrated.
My daughter, Maud, and I spent quite our Saturday to build her Maud.tv site, design the banner, select her videos, add photos, she has started her blog, promoted Maud.tv among her numerous friends... the site was working fine... she has checked it again and again during the week-end, was back to it late this afternoon after school and was sooo pleased and proud to read the first comments......
I have just discovered a few minutes ago that the name now redirects to ChannelMe.tv....... = we have to redo e.v.e.r.y.t.h.i.ng......what's the hell !
I have sent an email to ChannelMe.tv but I have no illusion to get at least a reply and the site to respawn as it was..... I am exhausted and furious, wasten time and efforts, and further more what am I going to explain to Maud ? A bad joke from the Demand Media idiots ? Who are the newbies ??? Just a pity.......... :yell:

I have had this happen to 5 sites I set up on their platform this weekend, and the same, sent an email... no response, great for channelme.tv, they are now getting direct traffic from some pretty good names.
I think their staff has all quit, their forum is dead and they always have someone new answering or should I say comforting peoples questions, but even that has stopped the last few days there LOL.
Either they are going into damage control routine or they all jumped ship and said **** it!

I hope this was some simple glitch and they have your data stored somewhere and that this turns out to be one big inconvenience. My sentiments go out to your daughter who is probably just crushed by this whole experience.

It looks like your nameservers were set to forward to channelme.tv.

The site can be edited at http://maud-tv.channelme.tv/

I don't see any content there, but at least the nameservers now connect properly. Since the domain was purchased directly via enom.tv, you are entitled to call the eNom customer service number where there is 24/7 phone support.

really!!!!! argos wins an entitlement to call customer service Amazing , who would have thought!! Contact with customer service....Oh and by the way good luck with the shit weekend you and your daughter went through.

You should read BEFORE reacting, my settings are just FINE, the site WAS WORKING FINE. Of course there is no more content, a newbie from Me.tv has deleted Maud.tv when erasing my old Me.tv data : Kanal.tv & Sheriff.tv. Of course I won't get any apologies from DM, lol of course if there's a problem it is always from our customer ends..... ! Who's kidding whom ?????????

Same thing happened to one of my Channel-Me Geo sites. I setup the site and went back to it the next day and it was redirecting to channelme.tv. Thankfully there was no content on the site.


I just checked the site again, and its redirecting to channelme.tv again.

wtf?

Terrible stuff, sorry that you and your Girl had so much time wasted.
I really hope they get your content back & it all up & running just as you left it but i doubt that will ever happen.

Just another problem with me.tv, glad i never bothered using me.tv tools.
Problems like this one can drive away a whole group of the 'myspace generation' that DM seem to want to aim me.tv at.

My site came back up. Site was down for over 2 days. If this happens to anyone else wait it out before recreating your site.

Thanks for the info Ctack, unfortunately the Maud.tv site didn't come back. To put an end to that story, I have re-started from scratch yesterday night, I was happy to wake up Maud this morning and tell her that her site was up with at least a few photos and videos.
Time and energy wasted is one thing, the great disappointment of Maud was the most sensitive issue of this incident, such 'detail' can easily become a dream killer. I don't understand why ChannelMe.tv, -which sells SOCIAL networking tools-, does not communicate and react accordingly.
To end with this thread, here is their reply to my email wondering why Maud.tv site was down, either they don't read or they don't care, the message looks like an 'automatic/ready-made' reply and has nothing to do with my initial question:

"Hello,
The domain is forwarded to channelme.tv so that you're able to use the social networking. These host records were automatically set up when you enabled social networking. If you don't want to use this you will need to disable it. When your channel goes live, and I believe yours is now live, you will be able to just type in the URL for your .tv and you will arrive at your channel. You were given a temporary URL until the .tv went live.

I promiss as soon as my daughter will follow, soon or later, his brother who promptly escaped from what he calls the "Barbie-girl " ME.tv to go back to his crowdy but lively and bubbling YouTube environment, I shall never use again your limited Me.tv service and won't again disturb you with my little tech problems when I know you are facing biggest issues with a Me.tv platform which a year ago was already outdated before its release.

Absoloutely shocking customer service!.

This is supposed to be their primary focus,switching people onto their me.tv platform,yet they still can't even manage to do this properly.
