Wow!

...11.com seems like a bargain compared to all the names sold. :imho:

Paying 50k-188k per name is a lot. Not sure if there's a return on investment for those

Hey All,

Here is the explanation over at DNJournal

http://www.dnjournal.com/domainsales.htm

I found it interesting. Check out some of the sites now, they have images relating (somehow) to the URLs.

Heyo,

As an olde-skool NuDom, you know I just had to have the inside scoop on why young TJ bought these domains.

Curiosity seekers are invited to check the Numeric Domains link in my sig. (August 20th post) :imho:

NN.com, NNN.com, NNNN.com, NNNNN.com - buyout

Only can reg NNNN.org (Maybe less than 1K), NNNN.info (Drop Only) & NNNNNN.com (Long Term Invest, but premium NNNNNN buyout).

From DNJ (http://dnjournal.com/domainsales.htm):

His company is named after an E8, one of the most complicated structures ever studied - in fact mapping of the inner workings of an E8 was just successfully completed for the first time last year after four years of work by an international team of 18 renowned mathematicians. In a nutshell E8 is all about symmetry and Demas is applying symmetry to a series of numerical domain purchases for a project he is not yet ready to fully reveal.
