Anyhow, my case/statistics:

Manhattan.biz sold less than a month ago on Afternic for $5000
NewYork.info sold for $28,000 last year.
New-York.info sold for $3800 (I believe) earlier this year.

There have also been numerous other city .info sales.

Low $x,xxx IMHO (perhaps ~$3,000ish?)
It's a very nice name with an excellent keyword. It definitely has development possabilities. If I were you I'd surely develop it with quality and try and attract some people to it by offering something unique. I'm sure it could be sold for much more than my appraisal to the right guy.

I really like it, very good buy..
But you cannot measure "this name is worth 1/10 of NY cos of the population etc."
What people pay vary with time, and a lot of specific circumstances. If a domain just sold in one "area", there nothing that says another domain would be SOLD even close to that amount (even thought there might be some "hype"). Regardless, good buy. Lovely city - probobly the best area in the world for finance, and very good for real estate..
