Man stabbed, decapitated on bus bound for Winnipeg

A young man travelling on a Greyhound bus bound for Winnipeg late Wednesday was stabbed to death and then decapitated in what appears to be a random act of violence, witnesses said.

According to passengers on the bus, the victim, between the ages of 18 to 20, was sleeping with his head against the window when the attack occurred.

eeek.. used to ride greyhound all the time.. 30 hour trips usually..

a large percentage of greyhound travelers are freshly out of jail or prison... in fact probably half of the people i sat next to... all of em just wanted to get home though.

i let one guy hold my laptop at a stop in Atlanta that was just released from jail while i took a walk around the block... was pretty confident he wasnt going to skip out on me since we were on the same bus. and he didnt.

I took the bus out here from Virginia Beach when I first came out this way in 2003, took 2 days. Kinda exhausting but fun to meet different people.

I've often thought about buying an unlimited bus pass and traveling around for a month just for fun.

Disturbing NEWS in Canada - Im having a hard time

This man is one sick individual... I wish Canada had DEATH PENALTY... this man needs to be placed in a DEATH CHAMBER...

a young man on his way back to his family, was stapped 50 times and beheaded in a greyhound bus...

this news has been very hard on me... i just cant stop feeling so sorry for the poor kid who suffered such a horrific death...

Yes that is truelly barbaric news. Its the sort of news that we often hear coming from Iraq. The death penalty is too good and too swift for this animal.

Unbelievable!

Very sad indeed.

What always gets me is in the reporting of this type of news is that you NEVER get to know the ethnicity of the Killer. It's always generic and vague.

As far as I am concerned, until human beings choose to identify the specific individual instead of keeping him / her vague and generic we will never begin to solve these horrific crimes, rather they will continue to increase IMHO.

This is so sad....so senseless!

I have travelled from toronto to BC twice
by greyhound...(4 day/night trip)
my biggest fear was during the
night, stopping and picking up the drunk locals
both times there was a physical fight on the bus after picking
them up! I was scared out of my mind!
