Mail when registering a domain

When I register .uk domain's, I will receive mail from nominet with a verification code. Will I receive something similar to this with a .com domain?

You shouldn't do.

Haven't heard of a case where a user receives that as registrations are global. UK names are a lot more localised so I think they can afford to post them :P.
