Hello,

Does anybody got the mail from Moniker titled “Important Changes To Your SnapNames Registrar Account“ about new system of domains managing?

So I can't find my 400 domains I had at Snapnames. Tried all the stuff posted here and in the New FAQs.

I call Snapname tech support. They say the wait is 10 minutes, while waiting I'm given the option to leave my name and such, and they'll get back to me when possible/or stay on hold for the next agent. I stay on hold. 15 minutes later, the recording says I must leave a message...no other choice to keep holding. It hangs up on me. So I call Moniker's support 1-800-688-6311 (posted on their main page top right), I get a message that "your call cannot completed as dialed." I try several more times to make sure I'm not screwing up...same error message.

So I can't get to my names, and I can't get tech support. I have names expiring that I can't renew, and I'm not sure what to do next. I'm starting to think the reason they only gave 24 hours of notice, that turned out to be far less notice, is so mass transfers wouldn't happen.

Edit: The new snapnames recording says for faster service, open a ticket in Moniker. Sheesh. What a boondoggle.

Don't know if you tried this and not sure if it has already been mentioned but I had the same problem. I tried everything and as a last resort tried my original account# and password...... voila! There they were.....

Yes, my original moniker acct with the same password has the couple of domains it's always had. But not the names from Snapnames.

I'm trying to find out what the "new" account is they talk about in the FAQ. There's always the chance I'm missing something obvious, but Moniker sure doesnt' make it easy for people with more than one account at both places.
