Besides the possible TM issue, how much do you guys think it is worth? Maxim owns the .com, I was thinking about emailing them regarding the domain... But I am worried they might just decide to take it from me lol

This isn't 1996 man. There's almost no point in registerring names like this.

If you contact them they will certainly demand you hand over the domain, or they will just WIPO you. You may get reimbursed for the cost of the domain, maybe not.
