Lots of Whois checks, no offers...

Checked my GD whois stats, and there is one domain that gets tons of whois checks but no offers. What does that mean?

Is it a new domain?
Usually new regs and transfers get a lot of looks the first few days.

However, what does "tons" mean?

How can I see these whois stats on GD?

Click "More" icon in the Domain manager -> Export List -> Put the name of the file -> check Whois searches (both, previous and current month) at the bottom of the list -> Choose .csv format with no compression -> Finish

In minute or two, click again on More icon -> Manage exportable lists -> Download your list -> Open it with any spreadsheet processor (OpenOffice, Excel...)

bots to spam the hell out of you for web design, logo, seo services etc (this is what i get in case of catching drops), domain renewal scams, front-runners etc

I would say don't judge the quality of the name by the amount of whois searches being done on a domain name. As stated above there are literally hundreds if not thousands of reasons you could have a bunch of whois searches. I have many names with 1k+ weekly but have yet to yield a single offer.
