Maybe they'll contact the registrar and force transfer...

It really wouldnt be a good idea. You went ahead with the fight, and have now lost.

If you were really evil you could transfer it to a friend, who transfers it to his friend etc etc etc. They would have alot of trouble getting the name then. :p

But you would probably get into even more trouble.... :p

Even though you lost, you don't really have to do anything. If WIPO does its
part, it'll notify the registrar about it and the registrar will transfer the name.

Hi rajat, Iam in india. This f****** company has branches all over the world and is based in usa. They filed a wipo for a stupid reason :( and won it. How do i file a case back on them in my local court in chennai. They wasted 2500$ for this case on this domain.

suthra ..U can file a case in session court. It will take minimum 2-3 years to get a decision and wont cost u anything.. And remember IT act 2002 is silent on DOmains and like...

If u want i can send u numbers of cyber law lawyers. Mr.Duggal i guess is the best and he gave some lectures in my school..

Otherwise the easy way is to let the domain go..

Only a legal suit can help you now. But even that is no guarantee you'll get
the name back.

If the Complainant is US-based, you'll probably have a stronger chance filing it
there. But it'll also be costly.

Is the name that important to try to get it back? If not, as optimist said, let it
go.

Life is unfair sometimes. But that's life! *shrugs*

BTW, how did you lose the UDRP for it? What happened?

davezan, sorry i dont want to reveal that f*****g domain. Because its one of the worlds top companies and also has a very strong consumer market here in india.

I made a mistake of not creating a site immediately after i registered it and i lost because of that.

Why did you loose the case? What were the arguments presented by the other party?

Most likely the registrar will transfer the name if you lost. You probably can't even atempt a transfer, since the filing itself would have locked the domain at the registrar dissallowing the respondant to transfer, change DNS, or change whois contacts.

Unless you think the case was decided improperly in the legal sense, a civil suit is probably the only remedy, and an expensive one. Unless you have a lot invested and wish to invest more with the possiblity of losing that too, it's probably best to move on.
