Established Looking for web sites that are making a profit

First off I'd like to apologize to the mods if I'm posting this in the wrong section of the forum. As you can tell I've been a member for a while, but don't post to often lol.

That being said I'm looking to purchase a couple of web sites that are making a profit. My budget is small it's only in the $xxx price range absolutely as high as I'll go. If anyone is interested in selling there web site for that I'd need a description of the web site, along with it's history. The last thing I want to do is buy a web site that has a bad reputation on the internet. I need proof of traffic stats, and proof that it's generating income.

As far as the type of web site, and niche goes it really doesn't matter. I have a variety of interests. I do have a day job, so this is more of a start up project, as well as a hobby for me.
