tell me what blog that is free that would be the best to use on my new domain that i want to develop into a blog... i want something that is easy to customize and easy to update...looking for php but html wouldn't be too bad

http://wordpress.org Its a wonderful piece of software that can be used from the single blog, to a full community article-based portal. And, its free, there are thousands of free templates for it, and even more plugins.
