I bought a domain and i meant to spend 1$ on a .info and i accidently ended up spending 43$ i have no clue how i bought like 5 years or somehting rofl and it was my brothers paypal account rofl so he got heaps pissed off lucky we got a refund

I hate it. You fight through that long process and when you get to the end. You notice they're trying to trick you into registering it for 5 years. It use to be 2 years. So I guess it's working for them.

Exactly, always check the price first. You must have added hosting or something lol. Do the quick check out at bottom helps avoid the add on mess.

GD's messed up GUI automatically sets '5 years', so you have to be VERY careful and make sure everything is OK before completing the transaction.

You think you're an idiot? I turned down 12K for a domain that was 3 days old. I had it listed in a local rag for 20K. I read in the forums here that you should always "haggle" your prices. lol Hopefully I will get more for it in the future. May next year be a good one for everyone.

Well i had issue with GD for hosting. So i switched to dreamhost. Godaddy's domain transfer process is also irritating.
