REQ-LOGO LOGO for NAMEARCHER.COM wanted - $75 Bounty

Hello Everyone,
following this amazing post we have finally chosen a name for my new online domain tool:

NAMEARCHER.COM

We already have an image that you can use as a starting point / inspiration / or plain for direct transformation into vector:

Now, we have also picked two colors, that should be green and orange. This is an example we made using the ARVO font:

Of course feel free to use whatever font and to modify the image, if you can make it a better standard.

You can think of GoDaddy's logo as an example of how the face and text should coexist.

Prize is $75 for the logo and there will be for sure request for further works.

Just have to say that after going through the design/logo contest threads even though I'm not a designer just nosy I am always impressed by what @NameFu comes up with! Keep up the great work and when I need something I'll make sure I PM you first! Good Luck

This is what I say starting with a BANG. I'm curious to see the challengers' ideas

Improved aesthetics - Changed the nose, lowered ear, improved the winking eye, better hat, fancier arrow holder/bag, more confident grin and gaze, improved hat feather.

This could be a t-shirt!

I think number of colors and details should not be exagerated.
Also, the character looks great but the font doesn't fit. Final logo should be a combination of archer design + font altogether

Good call. What colors and details would you like me to eliminate? Or did you mean that you wanted color tones that aren't as strong?

I will play around with more fonts and come back to this soon. Thanks for the feedback!

I'm torn between the one line wink and the three line wink. The 3 line wink seems to be more common, but I also like the simplicity of the one line wink. Please let me know which one you like the most. Thanks

2 line wink, improved eyebrows, made the open eye more focused on the viewer, increased pupil size and made the angle of the eye more focused on the viewer (not staring into the distance but at the actual viewer).

P.S. I think you mentioned something about the eyebrows not being symmetrical. I can definitely do that, bout wouldn't recommend it, because in most cartoon styles, the eyebrow that's winking is usually drawn at a slightly different angle than the brow of the opened eye. But that's just my take on it.
