Logo design needed for our urban dating community

We are looking for a great designer who we plan to keep around for awhile since we have lots of upcoming projects we plan to open this year. We are looking for someone who is original, creative and also have great vision of ideas.

I notice most designers don't like to enter contests so that is why we decided not to start a contest.

We currently have a dating site and we plan to open it couple of days for now. Someone did a logo for us but for some reason most of us dont like it.

I am not sure what a great logo goes for now but I am willing to pay between $50-$100
