Logo design help

could anyone help me with finding a book specifically written for designing logos with fireworks or photoshop (or any program), but specifically written on how to design logos with the program?

I don't know if they have it specificly for logos. You learn from designs. Try getting general books about PS or FW. Also try www.good-tutorials.com www.pixel2life.com.

It takes a lot of time and practice. I started out not knowing anything and now I design websites. I really want to get into flash design, but I am sick of reading and have no time, lol.

I know the feeling about the lack of time
the thing is, I dont want to become a designer.
I just cant seem to communicate what I want to designers, and I end up with something I cant use, so I thought, what the heck, maybe I'll try it, since I know what I want, but cant seem to communicate it correctly.
But from looking at the tutorials, I dont think that this is the way out either...

You may just see something you like they've got some luvly websites aswell.

It is better to buy any logo design softwares and creatively thinking of yourself to work on more and look at the logos what are the sites you look and the day-to-day objects you see could be the concept.
