There have been some decent sales in .NU but I think you have to get lucky to sell them

and with .NU being the Niue extension with a population of around 2000, it will be tough

On the bright side...it is a good keyword

Funny how you say you acquired it in a trade, this is the type of domain that stays alive by getting traded among domainers and investors due to the strength of the single keyword, but the domain is valueless to any serious enduser. I think you could probably get $xx to another person that just started domaining, and then they'll do the same, and etc, etc before someone ends up owning it and realize its not worth renewing and then it drops, to be picked up by another new domainer and the cycle continues all over again.

Good luck though, I'd be happy for you if you did sell it for $500+

.nu used to be popular for Swedish and Dutch names - a decade ago .se was very restricted. Nowadays anybody can buy one. Ditto for .nl.
For this particular domain I don't see value. If you had the Dutch or Swedish equivalent, you could fetch some $$$.
