As a proffesional chess player, I have many experience with chess websites, blogs and softwares.
Chess is not only a strategy board game, a sport. Its also interesting from the scientific point of view because of the complexity of the game (artificial intelligence, math, logic...).
Also, chess is strongly connected to art and you can find chess as a theme in movies, literature and paintings.

In the last 20 years, chess experienced a technological renaissance, which spawned a lot of related material all over the web.
Despite the fact there are chess websites with some clear, concrete names (such as: chess.com, chessclub.com, playchess.com, chessgames.com), the most chess website names are usually something brandable: chessbomb.com, chessdom.com, chesstempo.com, chesscube.com, chess24.com, gameknot.com, sparkchess.com etc.
Also, there are many specific chess terms (for example: "fork", "pin", "castling", "check", "zugzwang"...) which are attractive as a names or a part of the names.

Maybe you dont agree with me, but my instincts tells me "game+chess“ sounds a bit awkward.
Its all upside down.
Its concrete, but somehow reversed and unattractive. On the other side, its not catchy and its not so brandable.
Its hard to find any potential end users for your domain. A movie/book called „Game:Chess“, scientifical blog about the nature of the game, or a chess software - GAMECHESS?
Its not impossible, but unlikely.
Domain age (16 yo) can increase the overall value, but not so much, in my opinion.
So, from the end user perspective, I think your name is not compelling enough, even its "strong keyword+chess".

If we are talking about the value, surely there is some value in it, but I would not be so optimistic.
My prediction is mid XX to a reseller and low-mid XXX to an end user.
I would be glad to see this domain sell for good amount of money and, of course, some nice chess content on this page. :)
