Expired names are in a grace period during which previous owner can still renew them. Deleted means availble to register. Pending delete means close to delete date I believe.

if I remember correctly, if you buy 10 domains at TDNAm closeouts (i.e. at $5), your price will be reduced to $4 per domain. In you case it probably was worth to buy two more to get a discounted price.
